Mabamba
Bay is one of the bird watching hot spots in Uganda with a unique extensive
mash stretching through a narrow bay fringed with papyrus towards the main body
of Lake Victoria.
Beautiful
natural scenery with a variety of unique species like papyrus gonolek, shoebill
and much sought after sitting. On a lucky day of full day birding experience, a lot of bird species may be recorded here, with perfect and ample time for you to take as many pictures as possible.
Bird
watching can be done on a well established path moving you from the
raised end of the wetland boundary through cultivated land up-to Nkima
forest Hill. This allows you to enjoy the panorama of the wetland outlay
and the vast birds species of 160 of one full day birding.
